Forget about the plastic bags. Hikebin is an essential part in your list, It is a portable pack which you take with you on a multi-day hike. It’s lightweight, ergonomic, compact & sustainable. By attaching it anywhere and preferably at the bottom of your backpack you can easily reach the side opening and insert your crisp packet, a tissue, an apple core that you would probably throw on the ground.
With its top full zipper disposing trash can be simply done and with the strap it can be compressed into a flat rectangle for your own convenience. The fabrics are easy to wash and clean and water/resistant. It is made from upcycled/deadstock/old outdoor apparel which would normally be thrown in landfills and manufactured in local tailors, to ensure its as ethical and sustainable it can.
The aim of Hikebin is to reduce the amount of plastic bags used for waste in hikes, restore the beautiful non-easy to access trails from more littering and minimize the huge environmental impact of not being able to keep your trash on you.
