Cyclhub is an app that promotes and regulates the idea of sustainable living.Plastic packaging placed on the market in the UK totals 2.3Mt. Plastic packaging in the UK accounts for nearly 70% of our plastic waste, making packaging the primary focus in the UK. Education and making recycling less confusing are key priorities to improve recycling rates. Cyclhub is divided into several parts. Community areas where users can get inspiration on recycling, a reward system and a scanning feature to detect if materials are recyclable. Further recycling instructions are available on the app.Design promotes an eco-friendly lifestyle, makes recycling easier, encourages better consumer choices, increases public awareness of recycling, and most importantly educates users on recycling materials and methods.
