The aim of this project is to draw attention to food production and consumption. According to research, bread waste is the highest wasted eatable in the UK. Therefore, I have created a bakery with cooking classes. Firstly, the wasted bread will be collected in Bristol and then it will bring to the building to be processed and used for baking freshly baked bread. The wasted bread will be turned into breadcrumbs and then it will become a porridge-like mixture by adding some water into it and then breadcrumbs porridge will be added to a fresh white sourdough dough to be baked. In the classes the technique of how to turn wasted bread into freshly baked bread will be taught therefore, this cooking technique becomes a local culture in the area of the paintworks.
