The Bristol Maritime Gallery of Architecture is a building providing tourists with an interesting insight to The Matthew of Bristol which was the ship commandeered by John Cabot. The Main Exhibition Hall will present the ship along with supporting facts relating to the captain and the reconstruction process of the ship. The building is designed to mimic a ship flipped over to present what’s on the other side. The project incorporates sustainable features such as, a car charging station, a boat taxi that connects the site with the other attractions along the river and bicycle racks located near the bridges that connect the mainland to the site.
