This project is an Urban farm education centre which follows the theory of circular economy. It is an educational space that teaches pupils of all ages about urban farming. This project is meant to raise awareness about the impact food industry has on the environment, it will encourage inhabitants to grow more fruits and veg that are native to the land and seasonal. This will induce healthy eating habits. Since this scheme is a cyclic system of production and consumption, it promotes reduction of waste. It uses biological processes such as anaerobic digestion which will use recycled waste to produce by products which creates a self-sustaining ecological system. A new technology called photo bio-reactors is integrated within the façade of the building. This technology uses microalgae to produce biomass, and filtered air and water through the process of photosynthesis.
