The brief this year required designing a building with the focus on sustainable production & consumption of an industry within a site in Bristol. The HUB aims to tackle the issue of E-waste in the Electronic industry by creating a recycling & social hub that invites users to learn about sustainable consumption of electronics while being able to donate older devices. The building pushes this further by recycling and selling donated & waste electronics to support the idea of reusing & reducing waste.

To support the activities & knowledge being delivered in the classrooms & the projection-based information center, The HUB provides a large diversity of biophilic spaces that invite users to socially interact & cement the ideas & trends delivered about sustainable consumption methods.

The large split of open & green biophilic spaces leads to experiencing the building & it’s volumes within The HUB, building emotions & feelings with the users.
