Situated along the harbourside Bristol, The Watershed inhabits the creative media centre of the city. The space is developed upon the scheme of playfulness and the need of a healthier, innovative working environment within this building. Utilising the large spaces available, my design will allow a flow through the building where the public can work and enjoy the mixed media in an inclusive way.

The exhibition space situated on the ground floor creates a presence along the harbourside with an active façade of pivoting mirrored doors reflecting the outside to the inside. The Watershed already manifests creativity with it being home to  the Pervasive Media Studios, however the studios presence was unknown to people passing by, so my design celebrates the playfulness of the building and Bristol allowing a new user experience of the building.

This includes learning the principles of structure and working with real clients and spaces. The course includes a comprehensive study of design principles, as well as consideration of matters including light, depiction, environment, furniture, temporary structures and the needs of the user.
