The Roastery, a public access building, is a place for students, businesses, Café/restaurant owners and people from all walks of life. The spaces are intentionally thought of to help people incubate their small hospitality businesses while providing spaces for talks and study. In addition, allowing for public access means there is no space for discrimination, providing an essential access-point for the variety of ethnic communities within Lawrence Hill and Bristol. This is done by allowing ease-of-access into the building, with large open indoor spaces and access to private/semi-private areas and facilities which some may not get in their own homes.
